INSTALLATION
Right now there is none. Either run the exe you downloaded, or use a program
like FlashAssist to run the swf.
TOOLBARS/UI
The toolbar at the top of the screen has shortcuts to Logging
Out, Configuring your servers, and the About screen. When you log out,
username and passwords for the current account are erased from use, and you
are brought back to the login screen.
The Configuration button brings you to the Configuration screen where you can edit/add/delete your saved list of servers.
LOGGING IN
The first screen you see is the login screen. Simply enter your username
and password for your Blogger or Movable Type blog and hit the "Login"
button. If you get an error, the error message will show up below the login
fields. A successful login will take you into the Posting
screen.
NOTE: When you successfully login, your username and password are saved and will be automatically filled in for you the next time you run the application. If you do not want this info saved, before exiting the app, hit the "Logout" button at the top right of the screen.
NOTE FOR MOVABLE TYPE USERS: You will need to change your server info before logging in by tapping on the configuration icon in the top toolbar. From there you can edit the currently used server.
CONFIGURING MULTIPLE SERVERS
The URL of the server currently in use is shown at the top of this screen
in under "Current Server".
By default the server you use is for users who have blogs through Blogger.com. Movabable Type users can remove this server and add their own.
There is a text field where you can add a new server to your saved server list, by tapping the "Add" button after you have typed in a new URL.
You will see a listbox with your saved servers below this. You can highlight any server in that list and tap the "Use" button to use that server when logging in. In this manner it is easy to swap between posting to MT and blogger.com blogs quickly.
You can also remove any server from your list by highlighting it and tapping the "Delete" button.
NOTE: You must have at least one server in your list in order to leave this screen.
POSTING TO YOUR BLOG
If you have multiple blogs, they will be in the drop down list. Select
the blog you wish to post to, enter your text in the field and hit the Post
and Publish button. As of Beta 1, there is no Post only option. All posts
will publish. I know this sucks for many people, but it's on the toDo list,
so please be patient.
EDITING OLD POSTS
To the right of he blog drop down list is the Edit Posts button. This
will retrieve the last 10 posts to the currently selected blog and displat
them in a list box. From this screen you can highlight any post and select
"edit".
While editing a post, you will not be able to change the selected the blog unless you hit "Cancel" or successfully post an edit.
LOGGING OUT
The LogOut button will delete any saved info from the cookie and bring
you back to the login page.
